The Academic Resource Center provides support services to assist students in achieving their academic and career goals. Our counseling, advising, tutoring, and testing services are available to all students. Various accommodations are also available for students with appropriate documentation through Disability Services.

Campus Computing
GSU integrates academic computing into student learning in the classroom and online with open computing, including wireless access, available on campus. Training and support for students is readily available.
Campus Police
Governors State University strives to provide a safe and secure environment for students, staff, and visitors. Campus safety and security is coordinated by the GSU Police, Department of Public Safety (DPS).

Distance Learning
The School of Extended Learning, in collaboration with the academic colleges, is committed to providing access to flexible scheduling for the busy adult through courses offered via telecourse, correspondence, online, extended campus, and variable topic short courses.

Food Service
GSU's full-service cafeteria provides breakfast, soups, salads, daily entrees, made-to-order sandwiches and grill specialties, and, of course, desserts. The cafeteria accepts cash, Visa, MasterCard and American Express.
International Services
Students coming to GSU from other countries will find our Office of International Services ready to help. From initial inquiries and applications for admission to enrollment and making a home at GSU, our goal is to see that students' experiences with the university, the Chicago area, and America are as rewarding, fun, and as stress-free as possible.

Student Accounts is responsible for the dissemination of information relating to a student's financial account, including payment processing, account balance, fees, payment deadlines, and holds.
