Recreation and Fitness Center
The Recreation and Fitness Center will be closed July 3 through July 5, 2009.

GSU offers free use of the Recreation/Fitness Center to all currently enrolled students. You may use the fitness room's free weights, exercise machines, and cardiovascular equipment. In addition, you may use the Olympic-style lap pool, the gymnasium consisting of a full-sized basketball court, a racquetball court, and locker rooms with showers.
For relaxation, we offer a large-screen television lounge area, vending, and study areas. The Student Commons area is a gathering place for interaction. Like the Fitness/Recreation Center, it is open seven days a week during the fall and winter trimesters and closed only on Sundays in the spring/summer trimester.

Family Time Program
All current members of the GSU Recreation/Fitness Center can enroll their children in the Family Time program. By signing a consent form stating that you are the child's legal guardian, you may bring your children to the Recreation/Fitness Center during family time hours. There is a minimal fee per child.
Only currently enrolled students or paid community members can enroll children for whom they have legal guardianship. Each must accompany the child throughout a visit. Only children that have a GSU Recreation/Fitness Center child card accompanied by an aforementioned adult will be given access and only during scheduled Family Time hours and special event programs. Enrollment in the Family Time program does not grant free access to all instructional courses.
