Ninety Eight CHP Undergrads Make Dean's List
GSU recently released its Dean’s List for the Fall 2007 Trimester. Ninety eight College of Health Professions students earned their place on the list.
“I’m very proud of our students,” said College of Health Professions Dean Linda Samson. “The disciplines we teach in this college are extremely challenging. Many of our students go to school while working and, often, while raising families. This level of academic excellence demonstrates exceptional ability and absolute dedication.”
She added, “On behalf of the entire college, I congratulate them.”
Dean’s List honors come only to undergraduate students who earn a minimum 3.70 grade point average (GPA) for the Trimester and take at least six credit hours during the term.

Congratulations - and Well Done: Occupational Therapy Holds New Graduate Pinning Ceremony
The Department of Occupational Therapy held its pinning ceremony for new Master of Occupational Therapy (MOT) graduates on February 15.
The MOT pinning ceremony is a long-standing tradition in the College that recognizes the hard work and dedication of MOT graduates. Family and friends - the important people in graduates' lives - are invited to attend and take part in this very proud moment.
This year President Elaine Maimon and Board of Trustees President Lorine Samuels joined CHP Dean Linda Samson and Department of Occupational Therapy Chair Elizabeth Cada in welcoming the graduates and their guests.
With twenty new graduates, this was the largest pinning ceremony in the program's ten year history - and it had the largest attendance, with family members as young as four weeks joining grandparents in offering their support and congratulations.
Steven Hanson offered comments on behalf of the graduating class as class speaker.
