Production Procedures

Whether it is a poster, brochure, e-blast, website, invitation, announcement, or advertisement, Public Affairs will manage the project. To begin production of a printed document, including the use of graphics and print shop services, please contact Public Affairs.

The production procedure for all university documents is as follows:

  • Projects are assigned a tracking number and clients receive a copy of the project tracking form.
  • Content is created by Public Affairs (as needed) based on the information provided by the client.
  • Graphics design services are arranged by Public Affairs.
  • Clients have the opportunity to review, amend, and approve the created product.
  • The product file is sent to the Print Shop. Print Shop services are ordered by the client.
  • There is no charge for Public Affairs or Graphic services. The Print Shop charges competitive prices for its printing services.

Note: All documents bearing the university logo must be reviewed and receive the approval of the Office of Public Affairs prior to final production, regardless of whether the materials are created and/or printed in-house or externally. Please review the image standards for additional reference.
