Colorado Commission on Higher Education - The Colorado Commission on Higher Education (CCHE) is an 11-member lay board, appointed by the Governor and confirmed by the Senate, that acts as a central policy and coordinating board for Colorado public higher education. The mission of the Commission is to implement the directives of the General Assembly and promote and preserve quality, access, accountability, and efficiency with Colorado public higher education.

Compact for Higher Education - The fact is, Maine has one of the top high school completion rates in the country. Yet only 50% of our students go on to college and fewer still graduate with a degree. In the old economy, finishing high school was the minimum requirement for all young people. Higher Education Coordinating Board - The Washington Higher Education Coordinating Board is a state agency governed by a 10-member citizen board. We are charged by state law with representing the "broad public interest" in higher education and are dedicated to helping students succeed.

Welcome to the Arkansas Department of HIgher Education - As part of its responsibilities, the staff develops and implements board policies and procedures. Additionally, the Department reviews and approves academic programs; administers statewide financial aid programs and contracts with the Southern Regional Education Board for support of graduate and first professional study outside of Arkansas; recommends institutional operating, capital, and personal services budgets; and collects and reports on student and course data as part of a statewide data base and academic program inventory for policy studies.
