Viewing Pornography in the Library Policy

As stated in its Sexual Harassment Policy, Governors State University, in keeping with its efforts to establish an environment in which the dignity and worth of all members of the university community are respected, does not accept, and will not tolerate sexual harassment of its students, employees or visitors.  Viewing pornographic images on the public GSU Library computers can create a hostile academic/employment environment for other students, faculty, staff and community members and will not be permitted.  Violators will be asked to cease prohibited activities.  Campus police will be summoned to remove offenders who do not comply with such a request, and repeated violations may result in suspension of library use privileges.
