Google Scholar enables you to search specifically for scholarly literature, including peer-reviewed papers, theses, books, preprints, abstracts and technical reports from all broad areas of research. Use Google Scholar to find articles from a wide variety of academic publishers, professional societies, preprint repositories and universities, as well as scholarly articles available across the web. Many of the Journals cited by Scholar Google can be found by using the
Full Text Journals List. Many of the books cited by Scholar Google can be found by searching the
Library Catalog.
Many of the GSU Library databases contain some or all full text. Many of the articles are available in 2 different formats: HTML - which requires no special software to retrieve the article, or PDF - which, for Windows and Vista operating systems requires Adobe Reader to be downloaded onto your computer. Click the Adobe icon to download.
When printing a PDF file do not use the print icon on the toolbar, PDF files have their own printer icons that must be used.
If you find a citation for an article that is not full text and Governors State does not own the journal, you can request the article via Interlibrary Loan.
