The Title V Cooperative Grant Latino Center for Excellence supports Hispanic students through graduation and ensures that they are prepared to face the professional challenges of a highly competitive society.
This is done by facilitating transition from other institutions, increasing the university's personnel cultural competence, and training professors on inclusive teaching techniques to engage and enhance the learning process.
The Center is totally funded through a Title V Collaborative Grant from the U.S. Department of Education and in partnership with Morton College in Cicero, Illinois.
