Personal Computing
In order to successfully complete course assignments, today's GSU student can expect to use personal productivity computing software regularly. Whether the assignment is a short essay or a class presentation, GSU provides, in various campus locations, computers with Internet access and Microsoft software applications, such as Word, Excel, PowerPoint and FrontPage, as well as a number of multimedia packages, like Dreamweaver, Flash and Photoshop to name a few.
For students with their own laptop computers, special tables with electrical and Internet data connections are provided in the University Library. Additionally, wireless access to the Internet is available in a number of spots throughout campus.
