Governors State University
needs your help.
The State of Illinois continues to face financial uncertainty. As costs increase and appropriations to public universities decrease, GSU faces a $1.75 million budget reduction in fiscal year 2011.
The university remains committed to continuing to serve our students and the Southland region – but that can only be accomplished with your help.
As a member of the GSU community, you are encouraged to develop and suggest new and innovative ways to save money on campus. Don’t be afraid to think outside the box.
There are many ways to improve GSU’s bottom line:
- Improving the bottom line
- Increasing efficiency
- Implementing time saving measures
- Effectively using limited resources
- Trimming waste
- Going green and saving energy
- Pursuing new business opportunities
