Prairie Place, the first on-campus residence at Governors State University, will be ready for Fall 2014. This is where you can take full advantage of everything our diverse and lively community has to offer. Prairie Place is no ordinary college dorm. It's a state-of-the-art residence with a choice of living options:
- Two-bedroom apartments / single occupancy bedrooms
- Two-bedroom apartments / double occupancy bedrooms
- Semi-Suites / double occupancy bedrooms
- Four-bedroom apartments / single occupancy bedrooms
There are also two community kitchens on each floor.
There’s even an in-house classroom for meetings and events.

Housing Application Process
Prairie Place will be available for occupancy in August 2014. The housing application is open for current GSU students and for new students that have been admitted for Summer 2014 or Fall 2014 Semesters. Read More>>
