Survey Description
Approximately 10% of women who give birth will experience subsequent postpartum depression. Postpartum depression in women is characterized by symptoms of sadness, anxiety, worry, fear, crying, and in worst cases, suicidal ideation, usually occurring within 6-8 weeks of giving birth. Despite its prevalence, very little research has been done regarding postpartum depression and its treatment. The purpose of the current study is to complete a more comprehensive investigation regarding the prevalence, diagnosis, and treatment of postpartum depression among new mothers.
If you are a woman who is currently the natural mother of a child one-year-old or younger and you would like to participate in the survey, please click here: http://www.surveymonkey.com/s.asp?u=567743179668.
