The Third Annual GSU Dave Drechsel Golf Outing

All Governors State University faculty, staff, and their family & friends are invited to participate in an afternoon of golf, friendly competition, great food, and camaraderie. Everyone is encouraged to take part regardless of skill level or golfing experience. The event provides an excellent chance to celebrate summer and get to know your co-workers in a casual, fun environment.

The event is named after Dave Drechsel, former HR benefits manager and founder and longtime member of GSU summer golf league.

Please note, this event is simply for fun and not intended to benefit any individual or organization.

Noon Registration - 1 p.m. Shotgun Start

• 18 holes of golf (four-person, best ball format)
• Golf cart
• Lunch at the turn
• Dinner banquet (approx. 6 p.m.)
• Trophies
• Goodie bag
• Door prize tickets

• A cash beer cart will be available
• Mulligan tickets will be available for purchase
• You may select your own foursome
• Contests include lowest team score (male), lowest team score (mixed), longest drive (male & female), closest to the pin (male and female)
• Dinner is served buffet style and includes chicken, beef, pasta, vegetables, and dessert
• Family members of GSU employees are also invited to participate
