class of fellow students for whom an ordinary freshman year just won't
do. We've developed a freshman program that will be a great launch pad
for your successful college career.
Every GSU freshman will
be focused on one of seven First Year Focus Areas. Choose from: Arts & Entertainment, Business, Discovery, Education, Humanities, Social & Behavioral Sciences or STEM areas. The focus areas will provide you a solid foundation of values- based learning
and prepare you for a world that changes almost daily.
In your first two
years, you'll fulfill general education requirements in full-time, day-time
classes. You'll explore majors and programs through your sophomore year.
