FWS is awarded to undergraduate, graduate, and doctoral students with financial need. It is your responsibility to find a job on campus. Students are placed in jobs on first come, first hired basis. Your FWS salary will be at least minimum wage, but may be higher depending on the position and the skills required. FWS students are paid by the hour, twice a month. Students who secure part-time jobs have the opportunity to earn money, gain valuable experience, and help reduce loan indebtedness.
