NEW for 2011-2012 GSU has converted to a new computer system. You are now able to access your financial aid awards through the new myGSU online portal. Using the myGSU portal, go to Online Services and select Financial Aid. You can view, accept or reject your awards online.
Once you have submitted a financial aid application, you're admitted to GSU, and you have completed the verification process (if applicable) the Financial Aid Office will calculate your financial aid eligibility and send you an Award Letter. Your Award Letter will reflect all federal and state aid available to you. Your financial aid Award Letter may contain a combination of grants, scholarships, student work, and student loans. If an award is not listed you were ineligible for that aid or funds were no longer available from that source when your application was received and or reviewed.
All award amounts are based on full-time enrollment and may be reduced if you register for fewer than 12 hours. Your financial aid award may also change if you financial needs change, you receive funding from other sources, or the data on your FAFSA changes.
