Faculty Development @ GSU
Increasing awareness of the vital role played by teaching, research and technology in learning and student success is the focus of the Center for Online Teaching and Learning's faculty development programs. The Center offers a range of opportunities for GSU faculty to learn from each other, hear from experts in the field, and to review and discuss best practices in integrating technology into their teaching and research activities.
The COTL offers:
GSU Lunch Seminars: Faculty discussions aimed at creating a dialogue on effective teaching across disciplines and through varied methods.
Hands-on Workshops: Training opportunities to learn the pedagogical implications of emerging technologies such as the GSU eLearning system, podcasts, and wikis.
Some sessions of the GSU Lunch Seminars and the Hands-On Workshops will be archived so that you can access past sessions online at any time. Archived sessions (if available) are hyperlinked below. All GSU Workshop Presentations listed below are available in PDF format on the Faculty Wiki. Links to Wimba archived sessions are also available for some presentations.
