Free WebCT PreCourse
Precourse Information
The Precourse allows you to experience WebCT software, and learn skills such as
how to navigate WebCT, post discussions, send an email, and take a quiz.
All students who are new to GSU will be automatically enrolled during their first
trimester. Just click the PreCourse link on your MyWebCT homepage to enter the
course.
If you do not have a link to the PreCourse and would like to participate in
the class, click the login button on our homepage and use the following
username and password:
User name: gsu_guest
Password: guest
When the MyWebCT screen appears, click the title of the Precourse, and you will
arrive at our homepage.
Register for the PreCourse using your Student ID.
If you are taking another course in WebCT this trimester, and would like to enroll
in the PreCourse with your student name, please email your Student ID number
and name, and you will be added to the Precourse. Enrolling with your Student ID
allows you to join discussions and other activities under your student name, rather
than as one of many "guests". When you login to WebCT, the PreCourse will
appear among the titles of your other online courses.
