Below is a list of frequently asked questions by faculty.

How do I get an online course shell?

New course shells are generated automatically from CARS each trimester. If you do
not see your new section listed on the MyWebCT page, contact eLearning Support.

What is my login?

Your WebCT login is the same as your GSU email login and password. If you do not
remember your password, contact ext. 4357. If you are new to GSU, and have not
yet been assigned a GSU email login and password, contact eLearning Support to
obtain a temporary login and password.

How can I adjust MyWebCT page, so that previous trimester courses aren't visible?

Click on the pencil icon  Pencil Icon at the upper left of your
course list. You will see a screen with a list of all courses under your current login.
In the Visibility column, click the "Hide" button for each course you do not want to be
visible on your MyWebCT page. Click the WebCT tab to return to MyWebCT page.

When can students access my course?

Students will be able to access your course on the first day of the trimester.
Students are updated daily from CARS during the current trimester; therefore,
late-registrants will be added within 24 hours after they have been entered into
the CARS system.

How do I customize my Homepage?

If your course is based on the GSU Standard Template, you will find a link on the
homepage with instructions for editing such items as course name, colors, and
layout. If you do not have this link, contact eLearning Support.
