Faculty Training Workshops 2009

See 2009 Workshop Schedule below.

September           October            November

The Center for Online Teaching and Learning has scheduled "GSU Lunch Workshop" faculty discussion forums as well as "Hands On" workshop training for learning to use our course management system, Blackboard CE-8.

The "GSU Lunch Workshop" sessions are aimed at creating a dialogue among faculty on effective teaching in the traditional (campus) classroom as well as in online classes.  "Hands On" Blackboard CE-8 training offers the opportunity to learn how to convert the GSU Standard Template, available for every course at GSU, into a customized, web-enhanced section, ready for the upcoming trimester, as well as the opportunity to learn pedagogical applications for emerging technologies such as Podcasts, Wikis and Blogs.

Some sessions of the "GSU Lunch Workshop" workshops and the "Hands On" training will be archived so that you can access past sessions online at any time. Archived sessions (if available) are hyperlinked below.  Just click the link to enter the previously recorded session.

Please note:  All GSU Workshop Presentations listed below are available in PDF format.
