Short Courses
Special Topics Short Courses are designed for those individuals who need flexibility in their schedules as they pursue a college degree or further themselves along a career path. Special Topics Short Courses are credit course offerings, which provide a wide variety of topics scheduled for the convenience of the student seeking an alternative to weekday scheduling.

Registration
To register for a Special Topics Short Course, continuing students with a Personal Identification Number (PIN) may register online. New students should call 708.534.4490 to apply to the university and obtain a PIN, or they may use the extension registration form at the back of the current DXL schedule (payment must be included).
To avoid the possibility of courses canceling, we encourage students to register early—preferably by online registration.
Withdrawal/Drop
Students are not automatically dropped from a course for not attending. You MUST withdraw/drop the course through the online student system.
Room Numbers
Special Topics Short Courses meet at GSU unless otherwise stated. Room numbers may be reviewed here; they will also be posted for on-campus classes at building entrances on the first night of classes. In the event a room number has changed, this change will also be posted. For further information call 708.534.4099 or e-mail us for assistance.
