DLMD has developed several courses that incorporate social justice and ethical concepts which are licensed to institutions nationwide.
Objective:
Maintain these courses which have broad impact, revising and updating content as necessary to assure their current relevance.
Look for opportunities to develop marketable state of the art courses that address the critical social, ethical and environmental issues.

Our course Women and Social Action has been widely used and praised but it is in serious need of an update. Plans are in development to update this media course as Women and Social Justice with a new multi-media/web format.
Maintain courses like Beliefs and Believers, Dealing with Diversity, Contemporary Native American Authors in national distribution.
Explore development of a course on environmental issues of urban life.

Assessment takes place on many levels. Content is reassessed with faculty lead, pedagogy and technology is assessed by DLMD faculty and budgetary/financial assessment takes place with development of production budgets balanced against marketing projections of potential income.

Assessment process as stated above plus additional market research to determine income potential.

Use our broadcast and communications resources (cable channel and Internet video) to document GSU’s efforts to become a model of sustainable development and to promulgate our successes throughout the region.

Develop plans for documentary programs on GSU environmental initiatives i.e. FDM energy programs, new parking lots, watershed management, organic farming etc.
Dissemination by broadcast, Internet, DVD, website.
