GSU has a distinguished national reputation as a leader in distance learning, instructional television and media-based instruction. Its faculty and staff are in the forefront of the convergence of the technologies of television, computing, communications and the Internet.
A broad range of activities and programs utilize advanced technologies for the benefit of students, faculty, staff and the community.
- Distance Learning
Manages distance learning delivery for the university, working collaboratively with the academic units. This includes course delivery via online, telecourse, correspondence, and programs offered off-campus. Unit also manages the Education Centers offered in Kankakee and Naperville.
- Division of Digital Learning and Media Design
Helps faculty to create media and learning tools, creates university publications, and produces nationally recognized media coursework that is licensed through our Digital Learning operation.
