Members of the graduating class of 2013 have the opportunity to make a legacy gift to Governors State University by donating to the GSU Promise. The GSU Promise is a scholarship that assists economically disadvantaged students in competing a debt-free bachelor's degree at GSU. Eligible students must be active participants in the Dual Degree Program and be Pell Grant eligible. In addition, this year's graduates have the opportunity to pay tribute and honor individuals who have enriched their lives with encouragement, faith, and confidence. Funds from the senior class gift are designated to the GSU Promise and become a legacy gift to the University from the Class of 2013.
The University joins these graduate members of the Class of 2012 in expressing gratitude to those who have so richly enhanced their lives, and by extension, the life of the GSU community. Graduate names appear in bold, followed by the names of those they are honoring.
The 2013 minimum class gift is $20.13. The cost to honor someone is $25.00 per honoree. For additional information, please contact Jackie Small at 708.235.2188 or jsmall@govst.edu.
