Capstone Research and Resource Page

In 2010, Drs. Jean Johnson and Al Tuskenis responded to recent calls by APA task forces and publications for more effective program assessment, for developmentally coherent curricula, and for creating capstone experiences within the major by forming an intercollegiate research team to investigate capstone experiences in undergraduate psychology programs.  The team received a Society for the Teaching of Psychology (STP) Partnership Grant in 2011.  As part of the grant, they have created this Capstone Resource Page for the Society of Teaching of Psychology and have created and distributed an online survey about the use and characterization of capstones and portfolio use (links to reports of their results are on the resource page).  

The Capstone Resource Page is hosted by the Office of Teaching Resources in Psychology (OTRP online).
