Full and Half Day Pre-Kindergarten
Children in pre-kindergarten enjoy a project oriented activities in either full or half day programs. The focus is on the children, how they learn, socialize, and grow in a healthy, happy environment.
Meaningful literacy activities include morning meetings, story time, music, drama, and movement activities.
Children build and create through activities involving coloring, drawing, painting, sculpting with clay, solving puzzles, building, and using manipulatives.
Special attention is also paid to developing large motor and social interaction skills. Children have gym time with basketball, beanbag toss, tumbling, hula-hoop, and room to move, stretch, and run.
Time in the sun-drenched atrium is used to investigate and explore the playhouse, sand box, and water play areas. Weather permitting, the children enjoy age appropriate playground equipment in a secure outdoor area.
