Grzybowski Awarded Denise LaBianca Scholarship

CDIS graduate student Christine Grzybowski has been awarded the Denise LaBianca Speech Pathology and Audiology Scholarship from the South Cook County Speech, Hearing and Language Association. The scholarship, which demands applicants possess a minimum B+ GPA to be  considered, is for outstanding graduate students.

Grzybowski certainly fits the bill. Dr. William Yacullo, CDIS department chair, said, “What impresses me most about Christine is her intellect. Without question, she was one of the finest students to graduate from the undergraduate program.”

Yacullo added that the Communication Disorders faculty selected Grzybowski as the program’s Outstanding Undergraduate Student for 2006-2007.

Grzybowski entered the MHS in Communication Disorders program in 2007, after graduating from the undergraduate program with a 4.0 GPA.
