Information Sessions

The College periodically holds information sessions designed to introduce prospective students to its degree or certificate programs. There is no better way to learn about our programs than attending one of these sessions.

You’ll have an opportunity to meet with the faculty who actually teach the courses, and you’ll be able to ask questions about prerequisites, degree requirements, and the profession itself.

Upcoming information sessions are listed below.

Bachelor of Social Work at Triton College

In partnership with Triton College, Governors State University will offer the Bachelor of Social Work at Triton College. The program will begin in September, 2008. Representatives from GSU will hold information sessions for its Bachelor of Social Work degree at Triton College on the following dates:

  • Tuesday, June 17    5 to 7 p.m.
  • Tuesday, June 24    5 to 7 p.m.
  • Tuesday, July 15      2 to 4 and 5 to 7 p.m.

The information sessions will meet in Triton's University Center, Room R105, on the first floor of the library. The sessions are free and students are encouraged to bring transcripts for preliminary review. Information on applications, admission, and financial aid will be available. Master of Occupational Therapy

The Department of Occupational Therapy will hold information sessions for its Master of Occupational Therapy (MOT) degree program on the following dates:

  • Thursday, July 24
  • Saturday, September 13
