Meet DrOT Student, Elizabeth Wanka, MOT, OTR-L
My OT Practice at Present:
Prior to entering the DrOT program, I provided occupational therapy to a broad range of clients representing the entire life span—from children to adults.
I provide these services at Loyola University Hospital adult acute care registry, as well as Hillmann Pediatric Therapy Services.
Why I Chose GSU:
My previous experience in the master’s program in Occupational Therapy at GSU gave me the confidence to pursue leadership roles. I also obtained a wide variety of experiences in many areas of practice.
After researching other doctorate programs, I found that GSU offered excellent education for a reasonable tuition price.
With the DrOT Degree I Plan to:
My interest is in addressing disparities within the Hispanic community. When I finish the DrOT program, I would like to do research within the Hispanic communities.
