Occupational Therapy Assistant to Master of Occupational Therapy (OTA-MOT)
Don’t waste time taking courses you don’t need!
If you’re an Occupational Therapy Assistant (OTA) and you’ve decided to earn your Master of Occupational Therapy degree, Governors State University offers an innovative program that will let you earn your bachelor’s degree and prepare for admission into the Master of Occupational Therapy (MOT) degree program at the same time.
As an OTA, you know Occupational Therapy, and your background makes you the perfect candidate for the MOT program. But the minimum admission requirement is a bachelor’s degree, and there are extensive prerequisites.
The good news is that Governors State allows you to take care of both admission requirements at the same time.
GSU’s Department of Occupational Therapy and School of Interdisciplinary Learning have developed a baccalaureate degree option that allows you to tailor your undergraduate courses to meet MOT prerequisites. So once you graduate, you’ll have your bachelor’s degree and all of the MOT prerequisites out of the way.
No wasted time. No wasted money.
