Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP) Accreditation Status
Approval to grant the degree was granted by the Illinois Board of Higher Education in December, 2007. Approval for the Doctor of Nursing Practice has also been awarded by the Higher Learning Commission (HLC). As a new doctoral level program, the DNP will be eligible for Collegiate Commission on Nursing Education (CCNE) Accreditation and Accreditation Commission for Education in Nursing, Inc. (ACEN) accreditation when available.
