    • Consulted with committee and developed open-ended questions in order to facilitate open sharing of participants.
    • Facilitated 30+ focus groups with the aim of securing data for inclusion in the strategic planning report for the university.

       
     
  • Focus Group Leader, Governors State University Occupational Therapy Program (December 2006)
    • Developed focus group questions, held focus groups, and reported data to department chair.
    • Supervised and mentored graduate student researcher in the focus group process.

       
     
  • Focus Group Leader, Governors State University Library (Winter 2004)
    • Led focus groups in order to determine patron needs.
    • Created all open-ended questions, wrote report, and provided feedback to library staff.

       
     
  • Co-Investigator, Freedom House Alcohol and Drug Rehabilitation Agency, Federal Outcomes Assessment Grant (March 1999-August 1999)
    • Developed and administered assessment instrument; collected data and provided statistical analyses for outcome assessment purposes on a federally grant-funded program with psychologist colleague.

    • Researched the municipal bond market and its many facets, particularly the informational, legal, and organizational aspects.

    • Analyzed focus group data and wrote literature review for the African-American Community HIV Assessment project.

       
     
  • Research Associate, Judicial Affairs, The Ohio State University (Summer and Fall, 1990)
    • Researched harassment cases and studied judicial and discipline guidelines at other institutions.
    • Developed and administered the eight hour Oppression Education Referral Program as an educational means of handling harassment cases with the Judicial Affairs Coordinator and the Director of Minority Concerns.
