Masters in School Counseling

Masters in School Counseling Prepares Exceptional Professionals

To work at a public or private school as a licensed counselor, you will need your masters in school counseling.  At GSU’s College of Education, we offer an excellent M.A. in Counseling degree with a sequence in School Counseling (K-12).  Our program prepares professional counselors in K-12 school settings who will assist students in maximizing their educational, vocational, and personal/social growth and development.  We provide students a comprehensive curriculum and hands-on training that integrates theory, research, cross cultural studies, social justice and advocacy.  Our goal is to promote excellence in professional school counseling as an integral component in the development of all students.
