Our Masters in Information Systems Allows You Choose from Several Different Career Course Sequences
GSU’s accredited masters in information systems degree provides you with the opportunity to address specific career goals and enhance your resume with a choice of three excellent 9-credit hour career sequences with a choice of Information Security, Logistics/ Supply Chain Management or Business.
The Information Security career sequence provides the knowledge and skills required to safeguard information from hacking attacks and or attempted identity theft. You will have the expertise to assume a position that puts you on the front-line to protect and prevent your organization from lost revenue and productivity.
In the Logistics/Supply Chain Management career sequence, students learn about the logistics of a supply chain with a focus on shipping, customs, tracking and controls. You will learn how to identify and quickly adapt to changes to ensure an efficient and effective flow of goods, information and money from suppliers to customers.
Finally the Business career sequence allows you to customize your specialization by offering the flexibility to put together a set of courses to best meet your needs as an organizational leader. To fulfill the 9-credit hour sequence, you may select from courses in Accounting, Economics, Finance, Management, Marketing, or Management Information Systems.
