Our IT degree program expertly prepares students with a challenging curriculum and advanced real-world projects that provide a balance of theory and application.  Students learn to use a wide range of software and hardware to design and deploy various computer and network systems.  In addition IT students are taught by a talented faculty that brings a wealth of experience into the classroom as well as have the opportunity to work in state-of-the-art computer labs.  Our program is uniquely designed to facilitate both independent and collaborative problem-solving techniques.  

In terms of future career prospects, the increased dependency on computers throughout the economy means a higher demand for graduates with IT degrees.  The employment for computer systems analysts is expected to grow 22 percent from 2010 to 2020.* Graduates will find challenging careers as computer network administrators, computer system administrators, database administrators, computer systems analysts, computer support specialists and information security specialists.  Workplaces include business, industry, and government.
