Consortium Membership
Governors State University is one of a number of Illinois institutions that offer courses through the University Center of Lake County. GSU's School of Interdisciplinary Learning (SIDL) offers the B.A. in Interdisciplinary Studies through online, correspondence, and video courses. A SIDL representative is available at most of the recruitment events at the University Center.
Lake County resident students can:

Attend brown bag lunches on college support topics
Meet a GSU advisor
Connect with other distance learners for group discussion
Have exams proctored
Arrange to use computers for Internet access
