On Friday, April 25 Governors State University celebrated student successes and big ideas at the GSU Foundation Scholarship Luncheon.
The GSU Scholarship Luncheon is the university’s annual stakeholder event celebrating and acknowledging the achievements of GSU student scholarship recipients. The luncheon provides an opportunity to connect recipients with their donors to personally express their appreciation for the rich opportunities and experiences made possible thanks to their financial support. The luncheon also honors the philanthropic support of corporate, private, alumni and community partners, who make higher education attainable for GSU students.
The GSU Foundation awarded over $100,000 in scholarships to GSU students during the 2013-2014 school year.
To students, the foundation thanks you for exemplifying excellence in the classroom, leadership in the GSU community, and responsibility in the community at large. You are GSU’s most important asset.
