Khadijah Bradford, a graduate student in school counseling, was recently named a National Board for Certified Counselors Foundation scholar. She will receive a $5,000 scholarship and be featured in the organization’s upcoming press releases.

The NBCC Foundation was created in 2005 “to harness the knowledge and prestige of NBCC to improve the mental health and well-being of all people.” The mission of the NBCC Foundation is “to leverage the power of counseling by strategically focusing resources for positive change.”

Bradford will participate in a virtual awards ceremony, where she will get a chance to meet the team of reviewers who chose her for her award.
