Colleague Users Group changes name, announces March meeting

CUG, the Colleague Users Group, has a new name; the Technology Users Group, or TUG.

TUG is an advisory group made up of technology users from all areas of the university. Since all facets of technology are inter-reliant, all faculty, staff and students are considered members of TUG.

The next meeting of TUG is Thursday, March 20 at 2 p.m. in the ACS Computer Lab, room D2438. Please note new day and time.

The meeting is dedicated to learning more about Microsoft Excel. The workshop will cover how to set up password protections, how to split the screen and how to hide rows and columns. It will be presented by Diane Nadler, library reference desk manager. This is a hands-on session with limited seats, so please contact the Colleague Project Office to reserve your spot.

The activities of TUG provide a public forum for community members to share experiences, to explore possibilities and to learn about Colleague, the Portal and other technology used at GSU. Members can also share their technology expertise with others, so collaboratively all members can achieve peak technology efficiency.
