The GSU Library and GSU Friends of the Library celebrate Black History Month with the inaugural exhibit of the Skylight Gallery in the Library, “Traditional Art of the Ivory Coast” on Feb. 21 at 3:30 p.m.
The event will begin with a lecture in the E Lounge by Dr. Arthur P. Bourgeois and Dr. Michel Nguessan. Immediately following there will be a guided gallery tour with commentary at 4 p.m., followed by a ribbon cutting and reception. Students, faculty, staff and members of the surrounding community are welcome to attend. The event is free.
“Traditional Art of the Ivory Coast” will run from Feb. 21 through April 25. For further information, please contact Library@govst.edu.
