Blacklight, dancing ducklings lit up in wires, stunning choreography and a musical explosion of genres—your family has never seen anything like this. Lightwire Theater presents “The Ugly Duckling and The Tortoise and The Hare,” on Sunday, Feb. 16 at 2 p.m., as part of GSU’s Family Fun series giving a modern upgrade to a pair of classic tales, Hans Christian Andersen's "The Ugly Duckling" and Aesop's fable, "The Tortoise and The Hare."
Lightwire Theater teamed up with Corbian Visual Arts and Dance to bring their use of cutting edge technology, moving sculpture and dance to another unforgettable theatrical experience. Lined with electroluminescent wire, actors illuminate the darkened stage and wend their way into audiences' hearts.
