FACULTY PROFILE

Tracey Kim Snow has been a lecturer in the counseling program at Governors State University since 2003. She teaches and supervises graduate level counseling students from all 3 counseling sequences: School, Clinical Mental Health, as well as Marriage, Couple and Family. Ms. Snow has also taught undergraduate psychology classes.

Ms. Snow was the Productions Coordinator for Counseling and Psychology training videos produced at Governors State University. Her role included recruiting, screening, and coordinating clients for each specialized video. She would publicize and screen for audience participation, and publicize the videos and workshops throughout the local area with universities, agencies, clubs, organizations, and public forums. She would also assist the therapists for the duration of the project, gather all of the written materials necessary for each series (from articles and bibliographies, to consent forms, as well as bios on clients and presenters), and coordinate and distribute the CEUs for each workshop presentation.

Snow Earned her MA in Community Counseling at Governors State University in 2000. She is currently a doctoral candidate (ABD) in Counselor Education and Supervision at Northern Illinois University in DeKalb, IL.

Ms. Snow is also the owner and Clinical Director of Beyond Healing – A Wellness, Counseling, and Personal Growth Center in Homer Glen, IL, where she creates and runs professional development, holistic, and personal transformation workshops. Her clientele includes adults, children, adolescents, couples, families, and groups.
