I graduated with a Ph.D. in Finance from Arizona State University in 2003 and joined GSU in 2010. I have been teaching financial management and international finance. My favorite aspect of teaching at both undergraduate and graduate levels is to contribute to the growth and development of future finance professionals.
My research interests are empirical asset pricing, international finance, and behavioral finance. I received about 400 citations on Google Scholar and am ranked top 3.54% (1.54%) on the Social Science Research Network based on total downloads (citations). My research has been presented at the meetings of American Finance Association, European Finance Association, Financial Management Association, etc.
I have been serving both the University and the finance profession. At GSU, I served on the University Planning and Budget Advisory Council (PBAC), Board of Trustee Finance and Budget Committee, Curriculum Committee of CBPA, Faculty and Student Development Committee of SBPA, etc. For the finance profession, I participated in conferences in various capacities and was a referee for 16 journals.
