I am a full professor in the Department of Health Administration at GSU, as well as the Associate Program Director for the Master of Health Administration (MHA) program.  I received my doctoral degree in Health Services Policy and Management from Arnold School of Public Health at the University of South Carolina, and my master's degree in Public Health from Graduate School of Public Health, University of Pittsburgh.

My research interests have focused on healthcare access, utilization, quality and outcome, with special attention to underserved and vulnerable populations, including women, minorities, low-income families, children and rural residents. In the area of public health issues, my research interests include preventive care services, community health and health behaviors.
