Graduate Degree Information Session, GSU College of Business and Public Administration

University Park, Illinois, March 17, 2006 – Governors State University’s College of Business and Public Administration (CBPA) will hold a Master of Public Administration Graduate Degree Program information session on Tuesday, March 28, from 11:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m., at the James R. Thompson Center, Room 2-025.

The Thompson Center is located at 100 West Randolph Street in Chicago. Faculty, advisors, and administrators from the college will be on hand to answer questions about the program. A light lunch will also be provided.

The college offers graduate degree courses for working professionals at the Thompson Center. Classes are held between 5:15 p.m. and 8:00 p.m. on weeknights to coincide with the busy schedules of graduate students working downtown. The program affords students the ability to continue their education at a location that is conveniently located close to work and on the way home.

CBPA Dean William Nowlin, noted, “We’re allowing professionals the ability to access a high-quality education at a place and time that is convenient to them. By conducting courses downtown, the college is providing a unique opportunity to students who might not otherwise be able to access a master’s program.”

For additional information or to RSVP for attendance, call (708) 534-4391 or e-mail BPA-RSVP@govst.edu.
