University Park, October 8, 2004 – Governors State University will host a reception for its Visiting Artists Exhibition on Wednesday, October 13, from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. in E-Lounge, adjacent to the university’s Visual Arts Gallery. The reception welcomes the work of Chicago area artists Ruben Aguirre, Jesus Rodriguez, Chris Silva, and Dan Segar. The artists’ exhibit includes mixed media constructions, paintings and sculpture and will be shown in the Visual Arts Gallery through October 21. The exhibit comes to the university in celebration of Latino Heritage Month. The reception is free and open to the public.
