Event Photography/Portraits
To request a photographer’s attendance at your event or to schedule a portrait session, please contact Public Affairs.
Photo Release Form
All individuals appearing in official university photos must complete a Photo Release Form. Subjects under 18 must have the form completed by a parent or legal guardian.
The form ensures that individuals are aware of and have allowed the use of their image(s) in university publications, telecasts, promotional materials, advertising, and the web.
If you are taking your own photos, without the assistance of the university photographer, you can download the form below.
Original, signed photo release forms must be filed with the Office of Public Affairs prior to use of the associated image(s).

In addition to the University’s Library’s archive of photos, Public Affairs also maintains an archive of university images. Most images are available electronically to faculty and staff at no charge.
Please contact Public Affairs with your specific photo request, being sure to include what type of project the images will be used for and date by which you need the files by. If appropriate, you may also include more specific information such as file type (JPEG, GIF, TIFF), the platform you will be using (PowerPoint, Photoshop, Word), and image resolution (250 dpi).
Public Affairs does not maintain a collection of clip art or stock images unrelated to the university.
