Room numbers will be posted at the off-campus site. In the event a room number has changed, this change will also be posted.
Many students attending off-campus courses spend substantial commuting time to attend at an off-campus site. In the event that a session has been cancelled due to inclement weather, the University will make every effort to contact students by telephone before the class. Please make certain that the University has current contact information.
GSU Emergency Information
If you are registered for a class at an off-campus location, please note that children are not allowed in the buildings, hallways, or common areas. Because Governors State University is under lease with many of these locations and the lease agreements do not allow children in the buildings, if you should arrive with children, it is within the authority of the instructor or building security to ask you to leave the premises. This request relates to all off-campus locations and does not reflect Governors State University Policy on bringing children to the main University Park campus.
Please make arrangements for child care during the time you will be attending class at an off campus location.
