For conference participants who require overnight lodging, the Hampton Inn & Suites in Matteson, IL is our recommended hotel. It will provide a discounted rate of $99/night for reservations made before March 20. Make sure to mention the conference and Governors State University when you make the reservation.

Transportation
Individuals are responsible for arranging transportation between the airport and hotel. There are a variety of shuttle and taxi services available at both Midway and O'Hare airports.
If you are from the Chicagoland area, or will be staying in one of the many hotels located downtown, Governors State University is easily accessible by the Metra Electric commuter rail line. For travel purposes, downtown hotels are located near the Millennium and Van Buren stations and GSU is off the University Park station. We will provide limited shuttle service between conference site and the Hampton Inn and the University Park Metra station.
