Today's Governors State University student can expect to use personal productivity computing software regularly. Whether the assignment is a short essay or a class presentation, GSU provides, in various campus locations, computers with Internet access and Microsoft software applications, such as Word, Excel, PowerPoint and FrontPage, as well as a number of multimedia packages, like Dreamweaver, Flash and Photoshop.

At the University Library, students can plug computing devices into special tables with electrical and internet data connections. For those who prefer wireless access, it is available in a number of locations throughout campus.
